Jorgen strikes again!

The next Jorgen Vig Knudstorp comic is out! For those of you who don't know, Jorgen is the CEO of Lego, and I make a cartoon comic about him each month. This time, in episode 2, JVK's comic has been pimped up, and he's ready to handle the local trick-or-treaters, Danish-style. I'm sorry, Tom, I'm so sorry.

See it here, because I can't be bothered to upload it to this post as well!

DER STORIE OFV BILL AND HARRY AND THIN ASWOLL

This is a weird story my sister wrote. It sounds best when used in Text-to-Speech, ie. Microsoft Sam or the cool voices that you get on a Mac. Just get your computer to say it out loud, OK?

One day Bill woke up and decided to send some spam to his friend, Harry. So he quickly opened up email thin and evrythin. He write….

YOUR MUUM IS GOY WHEN SHE KABLUIS DA THIN ON D’ATHA THIN. AN YOUR DAD LIKE PERSIL SO MUCH, HE SMELL OF DOOR.

As soon as Bill had finished this, he pulled up his hair and put a sparkly hat, and then screamed “FFFAAAAAAA AAAA AAA BUUUUMMMMMMMM” to everyone in the street. The end.  Oh, wait. Not the end.

When he got to school (as it was Meunday) he walked over to his friend Harry, and said “AAA AAA AAA DID YOU GET MY SPAM?” And Harry said “Well, um, I didn’t actually. My computer has broken down, so I can’t receive any new spam. But, I did get this piece. want to see it? ok I’ll show you…”

TO HAWRY
Y U SO GFDGJVXFVCXC. I GET YOU LATER IN ALASKA.
WE IN AUSTRIA, SO GET ON PLANE NOW. YOU DON’T

GET THERE BY TWENTY ELEVEN, I GET YOU IN TEXAS.

ALL THE WORST,

THIN.

“What the hell is that thin!?” said Bill. “Let’s go uuuuuu uuuuu nnsdhgsdusdybcn to the teachers” said harry.   “‘k” said Bill.

Later, Math started. Harry and Bill’s class were doing their SATS, when Bill sent a spam to the test marker saying…

TO MARKER

HOPE YOU GET THIS SPAM.

COULD YOU PLEASE PUNISH ME WITH POOL TABLE, I BEE BAD

YOU ARE VERY BLUFF.

PLEASE SEND ME LOVE NOTE.

FROM BILL, THIRD ROW, FIVE ALONG DARLING

Well, the marker was furious. Bill wouldn’t even bring a rose to the date they had planned. So Bill flew and sent him a note sayin…

FAREWELL, MARKER,

YOU HAVE GOT BUEAFITUL ARMS SLOTHERED IN JAM.

I HOPE YOU GYDXRCH SOON.

ALL MY  LOVE,

BILL.

Meanwhile, Harry was in Alaska with Thin. “What the hell is that spam you flew me,” said Harry. “I dunt now” said Thin. “But it was buff kfhvbnsl!!!!!!!”

“AAA AAA AAA” scremed a cute poler bear (^.^ SO CUTEE!) “I eat you twos!!!!!!!!” An they go eaten.

The end.

Oh, yeah, and to finish it ALL off, Bill gave birth to yellow keyboards smod in had.

The proper edn ned den end.

Castle Walls and The BaumRunner

Hej, guys! I've been making more Lego creations, and now I've finally taken some pics of them! First up, here's two castle walls I made really quickly one evening. They're ok, I suppose, I'm proud of the window in the smaller one.

And there's also Jennie Bracken's BaumRunner, the fastest thingamyhoop in the whole of Steam Punk! For those of you who don't know, Steam Punk is a genre of Lego creations. It's neo-Victorian: timber and steam, with mechanical levers, dials, etc, but in futuristic things, like spaceships and speeders (like this one). I only made it Steam Punk because I was using some of my pieces from my Viking sets, which are mainly brown and dark grey, the Steam Punk colours. I'm glad I bought all those Viking sets now!

This 'n' that

'lo, everbody! Or should I say, Hej! That's how you say 'hi' in Danish! Ok, I've got a whole load of stuff to tell you, so get comfortable.
Ok, firstly, me and Luke have finished Brickspace! Yay! It used to be 'best of Brickshelf' but now we've upgraded it to BrickSpace. Check it out, on its new shiny domain name: www.brickspace.org.
Next up, some pictures I took on my way to and from school. Sadly I can't show you the ones of my friends, but I guess it's better than being sued. I took them on my Nokia phone, then bluetoothed them to my Mac and edited them in iPhoto '06 (yeah, not '08!). They're a little blurry, but good quality nonetheless.
It's half term soon! Wa-hoo! Oh yeah! Yay! I'll be doing some Brickfilming, and some lego building too, so expect more from me.

It has THE BEST physics engine, ever! AND Euphoria, Havoc and also DMM. THIS GAME OWNS! BUY IT NOW SO YOU CAN OWN [IT]!!!! Ok, I'm rebranding Best of Brickshelf, and I can't give you the new name but oh well. I also got £100 from assorted friends and family! Wow, but please don't break into my house now I've told you! Ok, if you guys out there are actually listening to this, what do you think I should buy...
  • A new HD/AVCHD video camera?
  • An A4-size graphics tablet?
  • Photoshop CS4 extended?
  • Put it in my bank account?
  • A new MacBook Pro?
  • A Cinema Display?
  • Give it to charity? (haha lol)
Please comment!

A few Kafka quotes

A few quotes from Franz Kafka:
The meaning of life is that it stops.

Truth is indivisible, hence it cannot recognize itself; anyone who wants to recognize it has to be a lie.

One tells as few lies as possible only by telling as few lies as possible, and not by having the least possible opportunity to do so.

In the struggle between yourself and the world, back the world.

The whole visible world is perhaps nothing more than than the rationalization of a man who wants to find peace for a moment. An attempt to falsify the actuality of knowledge, to regard knowledge as a goal still to be reached.

Paths are made by walking.

Now I can look at you in peace; I don't eat you anymore.

My life is hesitation before birth.

What have I in common with Jews? I have hardly anything in common with myself.

Some quotes

Some of the best quotes I have found from the internet, by my favourite famous people:

M.C Escher:

I do not use drugs. My dreams are frightening enough.

A woman once rang me up and said, "Mr. Escher, I am absolutely crazy about your work. In your print — Reptiles — you have given such a striking illustration of reincarnation." I replied, "Madam, if that's the way you see it, so be it."

He who wonders discovers that this in itself is wonder.

Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible. I think it's in my basement... Let me go upstairs and check.

Originality is merely an illusion.

Talent and all that are really for the most part just baloney. Any schoolboy with a little aptitude can perhaps draw better than I; but what he lacks in most cases is that tenacious desire to make it reality, that obstinate gnashing of teeth and saying, "Although I know it can't be done, I want to do it anyway".

Alfred Hitchcock

Television has done much for psychiatry by spreading information about it, as well as contributing to the need for it.

One of television’s great contributions is that it brought murder back into the home, where it belongs.

Self-plagiarism is style

It's only a movie, and, after all, we're all grossly overpaid....

To a distraught mother who said her daughter was so scared by the shower scene in Psycho that she would no longer shower:"Then, Madam, I suggest you have her dry cleaned."

When an actor comes to me and wants to discuss his character, I say, 'It's in the script.' If he says, "But what's my motivation?" I say, 'Your salary.'

Douglas Adams

I wrote an ad for Apple Computer: 'Macintosh - We might not get everything right, but at least we knew the century was going to end.'

Technology is a word that describes something that doesn't work yet.

In fact, I wanted to be John Cleese and it took some time to realize the job was in fact taken.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they go by.

Getting a movie made in Hollywood is like trying to grill a steak by having a succession of people coming into the room and breathing on it.

"He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife."

Steven Spielberg

The most expensive habit in the world is celluloid, not heroin, and I need a fix every few years.

On winning the Ocsar for Best Director for Saving Private Ryan:"Am I allowed to say I really wanted this?"

Once a month the sky falls on my head, I come to, and I see another movie I want to make.

A new Flash, and more!

Yep, I uploaded a new Flash Animation yesterday. It didn't take me long to make (which I suppose is not a good thing), but it's out there anyway. It's got a score of 2.7 something out of five, which is good. Also, I have a new subscriber on YouTube! Yay!

Please watch and rate my animation here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/463047

Oh, have you ever heard these two songs? They're so cool!

'Tribute' by Tenacious D
'LSF' by Kasabian

Amazing building

I find this building really cool, really smooth and beautiful. I haven't shown it to you before, so here it is. Somehow I managed to include it in my Chemistry homework (!?). It's called the Al Hamra, and it's in Kuwait.

Not much to say!

Right, I'm going to update this blog though there isn't much to say.
Firstly, it's finally October, which means it's nearly my birthday! Yay! Every day that goes by, I get closer and closer to owning Final Cut Express 4! I'm salivating already! Oh, National Brachiosaurus Day went down well, I suppose. I gave everyone their cards (apart from Chris, sorry mate, I forgot), and we got a joint one from Natalie.
Also, I'm going to be getting a desk for my room. Yes, another one! This one's for Lego and Brickfilming, 'cause my desk is cluttered with that alleyway creation I showed you earlier. This desk is gonna be SO COOL. Yes, it's from Ikea, but It's got shiny legs and a drawer unit with shiny handles and a new lamp and a drawing board and drawer divider thingy. Mmm, shiny. Ok, If Tim, Luke or Genesis are reading this, then ADD TO THE BLOG!! ARGH!!
Oh, and I'm currently animating, which is exciting!
